The Journey - How Myjozi was born

A little artist who wanted more.

It started with a simple prompt from an art teacher to little me, in eighth grade: "Press harder with the pencil."

The simple but powerful instruction from Lena opened up a whole new world. As I pressed harder with the pen, contrasts and depth began to emerge in a way I had never experienced before.

My love for art, which had always been there, as far back as my memory allows me to go, suddenly took on a new form. Lines and shadows came to life, and little me discovered how art could not only express what I saw, but also what I felt.

This is where the real journey began, a journey into the artistic world, driven by a passion to create something that touches deeply. The years that followed became an exploration of form, color and expression, and along the way a dream grew: to share this feeling with the world. To let others feel the same magic that I experienced that day and have experienced every day since. When something as simple as pressing a little harder with the pen changed everything. The path eventually led me to take the step and start Myjozi.

Today I live by creating and sharing art that inspires, moves and brightens everyday life. Every poster and every artwork I offer is an expression of the journey I have made. From the first lines on paper to what is Myjozi today: a gallery dedicated to transforming walls, rooms and lives through art.

I hope that through all these works you will also experience that feeling of depth and contrast, the one that makes a room change and a thought pause.

Because that's what art is about for me, creating something that feels real.
